ELE GRAFTON

Ele has been fascinated by the drawn image and working with paper from a young age. She continues to use pencil, watercolor, book pages and collage in her current work, including her intricate, bespoke lightboxes and her striking collages. Ele studied at Chelsea School of Art & Design and Newcastle University. She gained a wealth of experience in the art world whilst working at the Art Fund and then for a London Art Consultancy. Ele went on to set up her own art studio whilst also working as an art teacher at a leading London Prep School. She moved to Somerset with her young family in 2015 and now works from her studio in the beautiful Chew Valley countryside.
